About Chamae
I believe that making a few adjustments in how we live in our homes can have a large impact on our fiscal and environmental health. I want to actively listen to how you are using energy in your home and customize thoughtful solar and battery designs that maximize your savings and self-sufficiency.
I have always been interested in sustainability and energy conservation, which lead me to get my B.S. in Environmental Science. As part of my freshman seminar, I did a feasibility study of solar on all of Trinity College’s buildings. I could see even 18 years ago, solar was going to be a big part of our future.
I started working in the New England residential solar industry in 2012, doing community outreach and education on energy efficiency and solar. Since starting at Earthlight in 2018, I’ve helped more than 200 families install over two Megawatts of residential solar.
I love collaborating with people who think about their home’s holistically. I’ve set out to power as much of my life with solar as possible, including our air sourced heat pumps and electric vehicle. Pairing solar with batteries allows homeowners to be more self-sufficient while also stabilizing their local communities. If becoming more resilient in an ever-changing world appeals to you, then I would love to connect.
